Betty Bags are designed and made in Beautiful British Columbia by Cactus Creek Manufacturing, a Canadian family owned business that has been producing quality products for over 25 years.
At Betty Bags we are dedicated to eliminating the need for plastic bags in our society. Each Year over 500 billion to 1 trillion plastic bags are consumed worldwide. Since the plastic bag inception in 1977, many trillions have been used and the environmental impact is staggering. Plastic bags pollute our oceans, our streams and our lands. For example, many Leatherback Turtles, whose main diet consists of Jelly Fish, die from malabsorption and intestinal blockage, following the ingestion of plastic bags. These turtles have been on planet earth for over 110 million years and now could be facing extinction.
Each Betty Bag used could replace thousands of plastic bags over time.
